Your child’s timetable is now available to view on Edulink [Year 7 children will also have already received a printed copy].
As you know, we have asked that, contrary to normal guidelines, any pupils who feel even slightly unwell [cough, cold etc] do not to come into to school. We have also reminded parents that any pupils who have returned from countries where the UK government has imposed quarantine regulations, must remain at home for the duration of the quarantine period.
As we mentioned in our various communications, 85 classrooms have been equipped with cameras and microphones so that, pupils who are unable to come into school because they are unwell or isolating, will be able to follow lessons from home. Lessons will be delivered as per the school timetable [they will not be recorded for ‘later’ viewing]
If your child is not coming into school, please notify the school office [via email l.finn@kdhigh.co.uk and [email protected] ] as soon as possible – ideally the evening before but latest by 08:30 on the morning. The office will notify class teachers who will then activate the Webcam system in the classroom so that pupils can follow their lessons in ‘real time’ as per their timetable.
We have attached a guide on how to access Teams / on-line lessons for your information*
Best wishes
Joshua Rowe
