Headteacher's Report, Spring 2021 |
Dear Parents,
We are delighted to share our Seder Night Compendium with you. These thoughtful pieces have been written by members of the Jewish studies department and by parents of children in Yavneh Boys and Yavneh Girls. The festival of Pesach is focussed around education and sharing our beautiful traditions with our children. A wise sage once taught: “Much have I learned from my Rabbis, even more have I learned from my colleagues, but from my students I have learned more than from anyone else.” We are privileged to teach your precious children and it is indeed true that we learn so much from them. The articles will help open discussions so all can enjoy a lively Pesach. Together we can build a strong and proud Jewish future. We wish you a happy and Kosher Pesach. Rabbi Cohen, Rabbi Goodman, Rabbi Rickman, Rabbi Schwartz All the Y12 Science projects are independently researched by students and are on topics "beyond" the scope of A Level specifications.
