Building the allotment Poly Tunnel took most of the day. A Poly Tunnel is long polythene-covered frame under which seedlings or other plants are grown outdoors. The Science Bit: the interior heats up because incoming solar radiation from the sun warms plants, soil, and other things inside the building faster than heat can escape the structure. It will allow the allotment to increase the variety of and length of time we can crops grown.
