Many thanks for the support, guidance and leadership of Rabbi Shalom and Mushky Cohen, directors of CTeen Manchester. Wow! Wow! After a two year break we had an amazing evening together filled with song, music, acapella, choir, band and talent on display from students in Year 7 to 13 at the King David High School Winter Concert. The concert presented a mixed selection of songs and music from theatre repertoire, classical renditions and guitar selections to a rock band review, piano solos, trumpet voluntaries and saxophone jazz to festive songs both traditional and pop. The evening was bookended by a full school orchestra pieces conducted and led by Head of Music, Miss Shields.
Congratulations to everyone involved both in front and behind the scenes. Please click and view the sample photographs below. Many thanks to Miss Shields and Mrs Neale, all the support and peripatetic music staff and especially our students for presenting and sharing a wonderful evening together. Many thanks to all the donations and pledges that has helped the King David School campus reach our target of £800,000.
Thank you. We have been teaching lessons on how to make gaming and making being online a positive experience for all. Students have been discussing different scenarios in relation to gaming and how best to approach these. They have used their knowledge and understanding to create a poster on this years theme, exploring respect and relationships online. Please click on the files below. Many thanks to Miss Thomas for coordinating the teaching and learning on this important subject for our students.
