At the City Wide Badminton Team Championships our two Key Stage 4 teams and Key Stage 3 team performed to a high standard of play, Our Key Stage 3 team was though our only representative in the knock out phases having defeated Parrswood, Cedar Mount and Manchester Communication Academy in the group phase finishing top of Group A. This meant a semi-final against Burnage who were defeated 4 games to 1 meaning qualification to the final. In the final their opposition was Chorlton High School, the standard of play from all 4 students was incredibly high but they were defeated 3 games to 2 on the last leg of the final winning silver medals. Our Key Stage 3 team consisted of Ben Bentley, Ruben Baker, Josh Stonefield and Charlie Leventhall.
