The short story by this author is very good. Their idea of creating a short story for an already existing book is very original and fits in nicely in the narrative of the book. The author’s command of the grammar of the Spanish language is sound and they manage to create a story that combines both past and present tenses in a very accurate way, as well as it includes a wide range of narrative strategies. As for the review, the author does an in-depth analysis of both the content, the main topics, the characters and the narrative. Their comprehensive knowledge and the interpretive approach to the topic in its broader context (i.e. the links of the reality presented in the film and the Spanish socio-cultural context) are also remarkable. The author manages to make the reader want to watch the film with their moving but still very academic and precise writing style.
