Monday: read Yehoshua Perek Tes with Rashi (chabad.org)
Friday: Imagine you are Yehoshua, leader of the Israelites as they enter the land of Canaan and take over cities like Yericho and Ai.Write a speech that you would deliver to the Israelites, highlighting the 5 major events to have happened to them since Moshe's death. Your goal is to calm their fears of failure and persuade and motivate them to follow you and H-shem. Feel free to watch the clips below to help you compose your speech.
It should be minimum 400 words.
You will need this speech for further work upcoming after the Pesach holidays, so make sure you do it properly.

As we've learned previously in class, all of the Chagim are connected to each other. Refer to R' Hirsch's Horeb, pages 87-90 can be accessed here - bit.ly/Hirsch_Horeb Fill in the attached chart with the following information:Shabbos - Zachor = the positive things we do on Shabbos, including dressing well, Kiddush, etc. Work out which side this goes on and add other examples. The other side is Shamor. Explain what that includes.
Explain why each of the 4 main chagim have got to do with the seasons / subtitles.
