A-Level Spanish Theatre Tour, 'La Casa de Bernarda Alba'Date: 14th Feb 2018
Miss Pietralski and Miss Zaragoza accompanied a group of A Level students to see the production of Federico García Lorca’s rural tragedy, La Casa de Bernarda Alba at The Cervantes Theatre, London.
This was Lorca’s last play, completed in June 1936 two months before his assassination at the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. Students watched the play in Spanish and even embraced the opportunity to use their Spanish language skills to speak to the cast after the performance.
