Year 9 STEM Challenge SuccessDate: 16th Oct 2017
5 year 9s took part in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activity at the Museum of Science and Industry. The team had to design and build a marble roller coaster with the aim of making their ride last the longest as well as producing something which would impress the judges. The team finished 3rd of 14 competing schools, with special mention being made of students by the organisers of how they made an outstanding contribution to their team and the day.
