Yoni Jesner Awards LaunchDate: 1st February 2016
Students in Year 7, 8 and 9 have been encouraged to seek opportunities to volunteer in their wider community. The Yoni Jesner Awards Scheme honours the efforts of students who complete voluntary community service. It introduces young people to the activity of getting involved in their community and making a real difference to peoples’ lives - the very values that Yoni Jesner lived by and held so dear.His mother, Mrs.Marsha Gladstone, spoke to a packed audience of over 350 students about her son and the contributions he made in his community in Glasgow before he so tragically died in 2002.
