Lunch and Learn for Shabat UKDate: 22nd Oct 2015
This week in honour of Shabbat UK, GIFT charity ran a 'Lunch and Do' session in King David High School for year 8 girls. The session was extremely well attended and the girls beautifully decorated cupcakes which were generously donated by Brackman's Bakery. The cakes will be added to this week's special Shabbat UK food parcels.With the help of hundreds of volunteers, sorting, packing and delivering, GIFT give out weekly food packages to 200 families across London and Manchester as well as running hands-on educational sessions in school, inspiring and facilitating the children to become more giving individuals.
