Students are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, with strong performance across the curriculum and particularly impressive outcomes at the highest grades.  

For the pupils who entered school in the Solomon Stream, 45% of all grades awarded were at Grades 8 and 9, reflecting outstanding academic achievement and ambition. 

Mathematics was a particular highlight, with almost 90% of students achieving a Grade 4 or above, providing a strong platform for further study and future success. This is a huge improvement on recent years' results. Over 90% of all pupils achieved a grade 4 or above in English, again an increase on the previous year's results.  

Modern Foreign languages results were incredible, with 43% of all results at Grades 8 and 9 – in subjects that are exceptionally challenging; Drama had 100% success rate at grades 7-9 ; Humanities also delivered exceptional results with pupils in both History and Geography achieving over 60% of grades at Grade 7 or above, demonstrating the strength of teaching and learning in these subjects. 

Across the year group, there was an impressive level of high attainment, with 31 students achieving an average grade of 7 or above across their qualifications, equivalent to consistently securing A and A* grades.  

100% of pupils who entered the HPQ- Higher project Qualification achieved A*/A grades- these were sat in addition to their 9 Academic subjects, and shows the level of their commitment to expand their learning and incredible knowledge.

The results reflect the dedication and resilience of students, the support of families, and the commitment of staff in helping every young person fulfil their potential. The school congratulates all students on their achievements and wishes them every success in the next stage of their education.
