Our SchoolOxford Residential Trip
Two Year 12 students, Crystal and Manny, were given the opportunity to take part in the Oxford residential trip. Here is what Crystal had to say about her experience.
The Oxford residential trip was a valuable and enjoyable experience that gave me an insight into university life. I attended lectures on psychology and AI, nutrition, the history of science, and genetics, as well as tutorials where I learnt about various disciplines such as the game theory. Additionally, I visited the Culham Fusion Centre where I learnt more about fusion as a clean energy source. On the last day, I presented a poster on composite materials made from research across the week to Oxford professors, and a formal dinner perfectly puts an end to the trip. Overall, the trip broadened my knowledge and strengthened my interest in STEM.
