Our Year 7 students marked a meaningful milestone with their Siddur Presentation. The event celebrated not only the receiving of their own Siddurim, but also their growing confidence and engagement with daily prayer.
We were honoured to welcome Rabbi Walker as our guest speaker. He shared a powerful message about the Siddur as a “Siddur for life” – something that accompanies a person through every stage, providing the words and structure to help navigate both everyday experiences and significant life moments.
The programme, organised by Rabbi Cohen, was warmly introduced by Ms Heaton, Head of Year, who praised the students for their commitment to weekly Davening and reflected on how these Siddurim will continue to be used both in school and at home.
The Siddurim were then presented by Mrs Basger together with Rabbi Walker, making for a special and memorable moment for each student.
Following the presentation, the students had the opportunity to use their new Siddurim for the first time, bringing the message of the event to life.
