Our GCSE PE residential trip took place during February half term and was an outstanding success, with all pupils gaining at least one outstanding mark in Climbing and Orienteering – many pupils came away with full marks in two activities - 25% of their final marks.
Our GCSE PE Moderation day was a tremendous success, with all students either achieving their estimated grades or performing better meaning all 20 students from the practical element alone are on A or A* - Very well done all your hard work paid off!

Year 7 Girls WWI Football Matches
15 year 7 girls volunteered to play in WWI commemorative football matches. Just like in WWI, the girls chose their own teams and played in the spirit of fun and enjoyment. Each girl represented a different Pals Battalion who in the period 1914-16 saw thousands of men volunteer for war service.
Many thanks to Mr.Cheetham and Mrs.Turner.
