We’re incredibly proud of our Year 13 students following another fantastic set of A-Level results at the King David Sixth Form!
This year, 37% of grades were awarded at A*-A, 62.6% at A*-B and 84.2% at A*-C, alongside an outstanding 100% pass rate.
As a proudly non-selective school, 72.2% of students exceeded their target grades, demonstrating the hard work and determination of our students and the dedication of our Sixth Form staff.
There were some exceptional individual and subject performances, with 23 students achieving an average grade of A or above and six securing straight A* grades. Our Solomon Stream students achieved an outstanding 91.1% A*-B grades, while Mathematics, Physics and Modern Foreign Languages produced particularly impressive results.
We are also delighted that every student who applied to university has secured a place, with 80% gaining confirmed places at their first-choice institutions. Destinations include the University of Cambridge and Durham University, alongside three students progressing to study Medicine. Many of our Yavneh students will also continue their Jewish learning at prestigious Yeshivot and Seminaries before progressing to university.
Headteacher Mrs T Basger said: “We are immensely proud of every one of our students. These results reflect not only their academic achievements, but their resilience, determination and character. To see students of all abilities making such excellent progress is something of which our whole school community can be extremely proud.”
