Allana Edwards
and Zoe Gibson (above) represented King
David High School at the recent North
Manchester City Wide Swimming Finals at
Wright Robinson College. This put them
against the top 2 swimmers from the central
and south Manchester competitions.
- Allana
(year 7) won the Key Stage 3 25m
Backstroke final
Zoe (year 9) came 2nd in the KS3 2m
Butterfly and Freestyle final (lost to
the same girl in both)
As Allana
won the City Wide competition, she has now
been selected to swim for Manchester Schools
in the Greater Manchester Competition, where
she will swim against the winners of the
other districts in the North West of
England.
