Year 12 students attended a GMEX Business North West Special on Wednesday the 4th May 2011. THis event brought together the region’s business community elite for two days of networking, education and face to face business.

The business studies & economics department took their Year 12 & 13 gifted and talented students to this event where they received and enjoyed a excellent presentation from Australian self-made millionaire and Dragons' Den Dragon Richard Farleigh. The students were able to meet meet with Mr.Farleigh and ask him questions and seek precious business advice.

Students also visited stalls, made contacts with different employees, arranged work experience in their companies and also secured 'potentially' lucrative contacts for the future.
