This
week King David High School was
privileged to welcome the return of
Alex Epstein: a past pupil and star
of BBC1’s hit TV series, “The
Apprentice”. Alex shared his
entrepreneurial experiences with the
Sixth Form; including studying at
Manchester Business School, his rise
to the Head of Communications at
“Masternaut” and his eventual and
most well known entrepreneurial
endeavour; spending 6 weeks as a
contestant on “The Apprentice”.
Though he will not be Lord Alan
Sugar’s Apprentice, Alex described
his time on the show as “the most
amazing experience of my life” and
has returned with a new set of
friends, a business of “brand
storytelling”, press attention and a
once in a lifetime experience to
share. Alex described the new
facilities of the school as
“wonderful” and was impressed by the
size of the Sixth Form. Though the
facilities have improved since
Alex’s time at KDHS, he was a high
achiever at King David and studied
Chemistry, Biology and Geography at
A2 level. The students were
fascinated as Alex discussed the
friendliness of the contestants, the
intensity of the tasks, his own
business advice and life after “The
Apprentice”. |
