Subject: Israel 2010 yr9 trip

Dear Parents

I know it maybe -12c outside but hopefully within less than 18 weeks your kids (and the great KD team of staff) will be enjoying the warmth of Israel. (Last year the first day of the trip was +42c !).

However, there is the small matter of paperwork to be completed prior to this and it has to be done as a matter of urgency. I have told the kids that all forms needed to be completed by Friday January 15th but due to the inclement weather etc I am now extending that period to Friday January 29th. This is to give parents more of a chance to contact doctors re the medical forms. The medical forms completed in or prior to 29 January will be sufficient to cover the pupils for insurance purposes, even though we are leaving in May.

Those parents who have paperwork outstanding will be contacted by email over the weekend with information as to exactly what action needs to be taken. Please do not ignore this email as IF the forms are not received by the end of January it will
mean, unfortunately, that your child is OFF the trip.

If you have any doubt, whatsoever, please contact me by email; davidrosekds@aol.com I will do my best to respond to parents emails within 24 hours.

I am finalising our flights and will update you via the schools Israel-Tour Mini-Site www.kdhs.org.uk/israel/ within the next seven days.

with best wishes for the New Year'
