Our Aims
Jewish studies is a core subject for all
students, which leads to a GCSE
in Religious Studies. There is
an additional option of study to
A-Level. The curriculum seeks to
meet the needs and interests of
all our students across the
different streams and year
groups.
The department has created
courses that
enrich and educate and excite our students and equip
them with relevant skills and
knowledge to take away with them
when they leave the school.

Our teaching methodology is
interactive and pupils are
encouraged to debate, discuss
and challenge the teacher, in
order to develop a strong Jewish
identity within today's
multicultural community.
The School has a strong Zionist
ethos and all students are given
the opportunity to visit Israel.
Yom Ha'atzmaut is celebrated and
a love and appreciation of
Israel is woven into the
curriculum. There are many extra
curricula activities on offer
which promote Jewish learning,
Jewish culture and Jewish
values.
