The King David High School
History Dept worked with the
Manchester Local Studies and
Archives staff to produce
resources and activities for a
Learning Links Public Health
Education Project . The aim was
to involve secondary school
teachers in the development of
resources that would meet the
needs of the Year 9 curriculum
and for students to experience
and engage with an important
part of their heritage and
community. It was also a project
designed to raise the profile of
the Local Studies Unit
collections in the context of
school learning and for pupils
to feel more comfortable using
primary resources. |
