History offers an opportunity to refresh
and re-invigorate thinking and to
inspire and engage learners of the
twenty-first century. Part of the
department's mission to inspire and
motivate students in their investigation
of the past. It aims to help students
develop their own identities, and to
respect each other through study of
history at personal, local, national and
international levels.
The History Department aims to make the
study of history relevant and engaging
to its students to foster independent
learning in order to encourage confident
and thoughtful young people to take an
interest in the world around them.
