Drama at KDHS is a popular student
choice. Set up in 1999, the department
has trebled in interest and size. Since
September 2000 and the start of Drama
GCSE with 28 students. In 2001 it was
recognized that drama was a developing
and popular subject at school and a
dedicated drama studio was created. We
now have two new drama studios catering
over 200 students in Drama studies.
The department is involved in the
Bridgewater Hall Presentation Evening,
Yavneh Girls' Presentation Evening and
Musical Concert, Yavneh Boys drama, PSHE
through Drama, English presentations,
touring companies, outside theatre
visits, Yom Tavim performances, assembly
performances, Yom HaShoah involvement,
to mention but a few......
Extra curricular drama clubs continued
to be offered with sessions for lower
and upper school.
